    Building Renovations in Athens

Program _ Located within an eighty's glass-box building in Athens northern business district this interior design project was comprised of enhancing selective spaces: Boardroom, Lobby and a Canteen.

The client needed to upgrade and transform its headquarters' public area, serving both visitors and personnel into high performance spaces, aesthetically pleasing, to encourage interpersonal communication and embed a public corporate identity.

The Board _ Transparency and reflection are the motifs of the Boardroom. The glazed surfaces of partitions and dividers create a homogeneous atmosphere. Every detail contributes to balancing the potential of the natural light, which is then filtered by louvers. A series of suspended monitors increase the effect of omnipresence during teleconferencing.

Lobbing _ The Lobby was intended to reflect the company's corporate identity into volumes, hence the three-dimensional linear logo undulating into a planar transformation in this case. White floors and ceiling create a friendly environment  while the company's color palette of yellow, purple and white are observed.

Break time _ An open space plan in the Canteen area allows natural light to penetrate every corner. The views of the public surroundings are incorporated into the environment. Lighting design, and the application of company's branding material on the walls with neutral tones on background, and curvy furniture create a warm feeling.
